The recent events of Coachella in Palm Springs, California got me thinking back to when Jarden and I went back in 2013. Back then I was still wearing a flower crown in the desert, but surprisingly I didn’t even know what Coachella was at this time – the irony cracks me up!
Whether you’re headed to the desert for a weekend getaway (2 hours from LA) or are wandering around with Coachella withdrawals, here are a few things you can do.
Ride The Palm Spring Aerial Tramway
Definitely one of the top things to do in Palm Springs, this is a fun way to spend a few hours! We took the tram up Mount Jacinto during the late afternoon – the view is gorgeous! Once at the top, we walked around and took pictures a bit, and had a fun night time tram ride down.
Soak Up The Sun
Palm Springs is in the middle of the desert, so it’s usually scorching hot. Cool off by lounging at the pool!
Take A Gamble At The Casinos
If you can’t resist a good casino like me, Palm Springs has a few good resorts/casinos to spend a night at. It was a fun way to getaway and have a couple drinks.

Walk Through The Palm Springs Air Museum
Jarden is a huge military/history buff, so we gladly spent a few hours at The Palm Springs Air Museum.
