Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach

The world famous Basalt Columns at Hofsos! If you ever go here, please don’t turn your back on the ocean. Growing up in Hawaii, this is common knowledge but at the Basalt Columns it’s a normal occurrence for people to be swept off their feet and/or drown. While we were there, we saw at least 3 people get drenched from the shore break of the black sand beach!

Ice Cave

All the way to the source. A melting Ice cave in the Thórsmörk valley. The creaks & groans when inside a Glacier are something I will never get used to.

Icelandic Horses

These iconic Icelandic horses can be found on the sides of the roads all throughout Iceland. Its actually illegal to import horses into this country and exported horses are never allowed to return making every horse you see here native and truly Icelandic. They are very friendly and allow you to pet them and frequently pose for photos like this. 👌🏽
