While our first stop in Australia was technically Brisbane, we only slept there overnight at the airport before heading to Sydney. We had 4 days of fun before we headed over to the gold coast, so we made sure to fill our itinerary to the brim!

How To Spend 4 Days in Sydney, Australia

Day 1:

We took this entire day and devoted it to the star of the harbor: The Sydney Opera House!

After our flight arrived mid-morning, it took a while for us to get our luggage and transport over to our Airbnb. Afterwards we grabbed a late lunch at the docks, and spent the rest of the afternoon walking around the pier and park that surrounds the monumental site. It was definitely a surreal moment and the perfect place to watch the sunset!

Day 2:

On day 2 we first headed to Taronga Zoo to see koalas, kangaroos, and tons more!

We then took a bus over to Bondi Beach, one of the most famous beaches in Sydney. There are a ton of places here to eat, so it’s the perfect spot to grab dinner and relax watching the waves.

Day 3:

We took a popular day trip out to The Blue Mountains which is home of the famous Three Sisters. A 2 hour train ride from Sydney will take you to Katoomba, home of Scenic World, which is where we viewed the renowned landmark.

Day 4:

We spent our last day at Manly Beach, which turned out to be one of my favorite spots in Sydney!

Manly Beach Australia

You take a ferry to Manly, which is pricey but worth the trip over. Manly holds tons of shops, excellent dining, a popular beach for surfing, rock pools, and so much more!
