I have just returned from a girls trip from Vegas and am having major emotional withdrawals. The last 4 days have been filled with so much fun and activities, and I can’t wait to share it with you all!
On our first night in Vegas, we definitely started with a bang. We fortunately got to take a trip doing a night flight over the strip with Maverick Helicopters!
We got picked up from our hotel room and took a short 20 min. shuttle ride to base. After a quick sign-in we received complimentary champagne (nice!), and excitedly waited for our tour.
After meeting our pilot and getting a brief safety overview, we proceeded to hop on the heli! I’ve never been in a helicopter before, so I was actually a little nervous near the beginning. The aircraft is obviously small and it’s odd to be flying when you’re in such an enclosed area, but it was actually very smooth and easy feeling!
While Maverick Helicopters offers day and night tours, we opted for the night option to see the incredible beauty of the lit up strip. It was so majestic to see all of the lights from above, and we also had the luck of seeing a full red-tinged moon. I’d highly recommend it! My pictures obviously didn’t capture how great the sights were, so here is one that accurately represents what we saw 🙂
