Ever since the glamping trend came about, I’ve been dying to have a luxurious outdoor experience. We stayed in beautiful, themed glamping tents at Harmony Glamping Tulum!
Camping with a twist, glamping has made an international name for itself – giving you the chance to stay outdoors, without the need to give up all comfort and “rough it.”

Glamping locations and amenities of course vary – while I couldn’t afford a $1000+ safari tent in Africa or a $500 Bali treehouse, I was happy to find an extremely affordable accommodation in Tulum, Mexico.
Harmony Glamping Tulum is located in the city area of Tulum, and cost less than $50 a night for a private 2-person tent. I was sold on that glamping deal!
On-site is an amazing restaurant, Flow Tulum, as well as hammocks, and a pool with a giant, flamingo floatie. Bikes are available to rent, and they are even building an outdoor yoga studio. If you don’t want to stay in a tent, suites are available as well.
We stayed one night in a suite that had a shared balcony. (Nice and spacious, but the tents seemed to be more clean.)

There are 6 bell tents on property, each with a different theme. The tents are equipped with complimentary wifi, fans, and locks for your tent. Our theme was ‘Shiva’, with Buddhist decor throughout.
There are no bathrooms in the tent, but there are separate men and women bathrooms outside with individual stalls. Outside bathrooms aren’t my favorite, but I couldn’t complain for such a good price.
Our first glamping experience was a definite success. Harmony Glamping was a beautiful spot that delivered all the expected Tulum vibes. The onsite restaurant, Flow Tulum served up healthy and delicious options, and the pool was the perfect place to lounge after breakfast. We always felt safe and comfortable, and it’s definitely a great option for those on a budget.
