With the growing popularity of Instagram friendly museums, we are excited to announce the opening of Epic Aloha, an interactive photo museum in Hawaii!
Epic Aloha – Hawaii Photo Museum
The first of its kind on the islands, Epic Aloha offers 12 rooms and endless options for beautiful pictures.

Frequently Asked Questions…
Epic Aloha is located at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki at the Kalia tower.
$34 per adult, and $24 per child 2-11 years old. Children 2 and under are free. Kama’aina discount is $28 per adult and $18 per child.
If you are not a guest and staying at the hotel, you can park at the marina – that’s the cheapest option!
Now on to the rooms!…

This is the entrance, and the first room in the museum. The bright pink flowers and neon sign really sets the tone for the colorful, fun, bright rooms to come!

Remember that 12 rooms does not = 12 photos! Some rooms have 3-5+ different photo areas, so we spent a good 2+ hours inside 🙂 All of the photos on this post aren’t even all of the spots in the museum – there are lots!

The friendly staff are available on hand with light sticks if you want a different type of lighting or a brighter shot. Don’t be shy to ask them for pose ideas too!

You can bring along tiny props if you would like to differentiate your photos, such as the lollipop seen above, or multiple glasses/hair accessories.Â

Some areas of the exhibit are interactive, such as a surf area with kinetic sand. Another room shown above is very educational, and deals with sustainability and illustrates Hawaiis consumption of plastic.

We had such a great time with our friends at Epic Aloha! We were all extremely impressed by the quality of the displays and the amount of photo spots, we were also excited to here that the museum will be refreshed with new exhibits every 6 months!

We can’t wait to return, and it’s a place we’d highly recommend for anyone to visit.
