Our Story

Floatilla HawaiiWho Are We?

Aloha! We’re Tasha and Jarden – two twenty-somethings from Hawaii that love to travel!

Sea to Sky GondolaWe’ll admit it, Adulting is hard.

We were on the whole “Go to college, get a career, retire at 65” path, but we quickly realized the conventional route is just not for us. Yes we have a mortgage, and yes we have a dog, but we are also currently saving up for some long-term travel. (And much to both of our mothers dismay, right now we’d rather buy plane tickets than baby diapers.)

**UPDATE: We both quit our jobs!**

Together we have visited a total of 19 countries / 4 continents so far, and although a great start, we want to add a ton more to that number.

So Why This Blog?

We need to do something with the photos that’s been collecting dust on our hard drive. Kidding!

In all seriousness, while we both have ever changing pursuits, a constant throughout our lives has been an incessant need for adventure.

We’ve gone diving with sharks and jumped out of an airplane at 14,000 ft. We’ve gotten robbed in Athen’s and rode ATV’s in the Greek islands. We love the thrill and welcome new experiences, and we want so much more of it.

We not only want to document our travel experiences, but we also want to share knowledge and travel related tips in hopes to educate and inspire, the way other blogs have done so for us. You don’t have to drop everything to travel the world. (Although if you do, that’s cool too!) You can see the world without a trust fund! See how we do it 🙂
